This is Jill. She was my best friend in high school. She's a theater chick. I saw her dance back in high school, but unfortunately, I've never gotten to see her act or sing on stage. She's also into 80's music, so she was pretty excited that Erasure happened to be performing in Las Vegas at the exact time of her visit.
This is Amy. She's a childhood friend of Jill's who I got to know when we were in high school too. But we've talked more since we were simultaneously pregnant and gave birth to boys a week apart. Jill was perfectly cool with going to the concert solo since she knew that we were not as into "synth-pop" so we opted to go to Blue Martini. Watching older singles peacock and troll is unexpectedly entertaining. So, we did that, enjoyed lite fare and martini's while catching up.
