At Last

Last Sunday we at last got to go see Star Trek.  Loved it.  Sunday movie date attire:

Bachelorette Party

I mentioned before that I went to a bachelorette party last weekend.  I've been on Fremont St more in the last 6mo than the other 6.5yrs I've lived here!

My favorite stop on the bar hop train was Commonwealth.  Something about crystal chandeliers, antique-style bulbs and white ceramic in a rustic building.

At one point, another group of inebriated girls stopped me to declare me the best dressed of the night.  Hmmm.  Not really saying much when you're downtown in Vegas, but I'll take it!

The Weekend

We visited a farmers market on the other side of town and got eggs.  It was neat because we'd never been to Tivoli Village before, but, it really was pretty much the same as the farmers markets by us.

I also went to a bachelorette party on Fremont St.  This obscure image of one of the bar signs seemed fitting!

I hope everyone had a nice Father's Day! We had a super laid back one because Damon's wish was to laze about and grill!

Daughter Date

School let out in the middle of the week, so Emberly and I went on a couple dates before summer camp began.  Her favorite was going to see Epic.

It's hot enough for me.

Self Timer Death

For reasons unknown, the timer button on my camera stopped working.  Like I can't press it in at all.  So I took a few selfies in the powder room.  And then Damon came to the rescue for a full length picture at the theater {we saw Fast and Furious 6}.

Swim Sweet

If there's anything I feel more compelled to collect than swimwear for myself, it's definitely little girls' swimwear.  It's kind of a practical compulsion given the heat here.  Or at least that's what I tell myself.
I haven't gotten any new suits for Emberly this year, but these top my list:

The Weekend

We spent most of the weekend poolside, but we also went to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  My favorite place.
However, any event is brightened by Emberly's enthusiasm for dancing.  She would really love it if we enrolled her in a dance class, but for now, we're just stocking up footage to show boys she invites over when she's a teenager.  The cutest little kid stuff is bound to embarrass any teen!
