Life is Grand.

I've journaled for over 10yrs.  It's always interesting to go back and remember the Amber of whatever-year.  I think about the hands we're dealt, the miracles that happen and how we're changed by the people that love us.

Have you ever kept a journal?  Do you go back and read it?  Are you where you thought you'd be?

{PS, that quote is from The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul by Douglas Adams}
{PPS, my outfit inspiration here.}

  1. I keep journals for each of my kids. I used to have a diary back in elementary school! In some ways my email is a journal since I write my mom a lot. I can go back to 1998 when I opened my account and see all my sent messages!

  2. I've kept notes to myself here and there, but never consistently. (And, I guess, it's never too late to start.)

    I really like the new look of your blog, and your image with the quotation!

  3. Amanda, I have a quote journal for my oldest that I am good about keeping up in spurts. And, old emails and notes to others are the best! I have a collection of notes that my best friend and I passed back and forth in HS and college classes.
    Kish, it really isn't too late to start! I find small goals help with consistency, like, one sentence, just one sentence a day. And thanks, I'm happy to get positive feedback on the makeover :D
